Junior Pre-Sales Engineer – IT Infrastructure

About the role

Target Integrated Systems is seeking a motivated Junior Pre‑Sales Engineer to support its Sales and Technical teams in designing and proposing IT infrastructure and enterprise solutions. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, translate them into technical designs, and assist in preparing proposals and tender submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather customer requirements and design sized IT infrastructure solutions covering servers, storage, virtualization, backup, security and cloud.
• Prepare technical proposals, submittals and solution documentation while ensuring compliance with RFPs and customer specifications.
• Provide technical support to the Sales team, participate in customer meetings and presentations, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams for accurate design delivery.
• Assist in solution costing and pricing using vendor price lists and support Account Managers in identifying new opportunities.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and vendor solutions to position Target’s strengths against competitors.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in IT pre‑sales or system integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies and good command of MS Office tools.
• Vendor certifications are a plus.

• Virtualization platforms: VMware, Hyper‑V.
• Backup and disaster recovery: Commvault, Veeam.
