Key Account Manager - East Delta & Canal

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Key Account Manager for its Innovative Medicine business in the East Delta & Canal area of Cairo. The role sits in the Market Access function (Health Economics Market Access) and works with the HEMAR, SAM and BI teams to create optimal access conditions for the company's registered products.

Key responsibilities

• Create optimal access conditions for the company's registered products through collaboration with HEMAR, SAM and BI.
• Develop and coordinate the implementation of market access strategies for one or more products.
• Achieve access goals while meeting all company HCC requirements.
• Maintain accurate coverage and engagement of stakeholders and payers in line with company policy.
• Approach targeted institutions and reimbursement bodies with the right tools and frequency, using best-in-class customer service and competitive intelligence.
• Develop an evidence program that takes into account potential access barriers and the target price.
• Ensure optimal reimbursement and increase market access at all levels, including MOH, HIO, the Army and other national and regional funding bodies.
• Manage and monitor major public sector tenders to secure the maximum share, in coordination with the Sales Manager.
• Ensure drug availability and inclusion in institutions and reimbursement bodies, and sustain product access to patients.
• Proactively address issues such as critical local funding threats, formularies and product positioning in integrated care structures.
• Develop action plans aligned with agreed strategies to maximize product value, and interact continuously with BU, PM, MA, SM, PS and the Health Economics Manager.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• 2+ years of proven experience as a Key Account Manager.
• Residency in the related geographical area is a must.
• Strong customer focus, ability to build long-term relationships, and results-oriented, proactive attitude.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
