Last Mile Area Manager – Hub Operations

About the role

The Last Mile Area Manager will oversee the performance and efficiency of Bosta's hub operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of e‑commerce orders. Working closely with the hub supervisor, you will drive key performance metrics, support staff, and maintain high service standards across the hub.

Key responsibilities

• Support the hub supervisor by developing, tracking, and reporting key performance indicators for hub staff.
• Monitor daily plans and performance of each hub member, providing pastoral support as needed.
• Ensure shipments are accurately entered into the Bosta system and processed without errors.
• Audit courier performance daily, including appearance and adherence to schedules.
• Make verification calls on undelivered, canceled, or scheduled shipments each day.
• Maintain up‑to‑date package statuses in both the Bosta system and the hub productivity sheet.
• Track shipments that exceed the lifecycle SLA and coordinate returns to the CAI SF team.
• Archive proof of delivery for returned orders for a month.
• Manage Freshdesk tickets, resolve hub‑related issues within SLA, and create tickets for escalated problems.
• Ensure hub compliance, documentation, and accurate inventory recording, addressing discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and send daily operational reports on time.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hub and warehousing operations, preferably in shipping or logistics.
• Strong command of English.
• Proven experience leading and supervising teams.
• High school diploma; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Excellent decision‑making, problem‑solving, analytical, and reporting abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Effective time‑management and multitasking skills.
• Professional attitude with proactive, can‑do mindset.
