Learning & Development Coordinator – Hospitality

About the role

Join IHG Cairo Citystars Hotels as a Learning & Development Coordinator and help shape a culture of continuous growth. You will design and deliver engaging training experiences for frontline teams, ensuring they have the skills to deliver exceptional guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate the Newcomers Hotel Orientation program and oversee onboarding.
• Conduct new‑hire reviews, track completion of initial training plans, and assist with Training Needs Analysis.
• Develop, design, and deliver interactive learning materials using role‑plays, group exercises, games, and videos.
• Support the creation of the Annual Training Calendar and deliver IHG technical workshops.
• Prepare SOP manuals, handouts, visual aids, and maintain the IHG Merlin MyLearning platform.
• Measure and evaluate training effectiveness, produce monthly reports, and contribute to the L&D budget.
• Liaise with schools and universities for IHG Academy internship placements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Management, HR or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Learning & Development, training coordination or a similar HR role.
• Strong communication, presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Agile, resilient, and professional attitude with excellent organizational skills.
