Learning & Development Instructor

About the role

The Learning & Development Instructor designs, develops, and delivers specialized technical training programs for drilling personnel. Using a blended learning approach, the role ensures knowledge transfer, competency verification, and compliance with safety and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to identify training needs and create comprehensive program content.
• Design innovative learning materials such as presentations, e‑learning modules, videos, simulations, and hands‑on activities.
• Deliver engaging classroom sessions, on‑the‑job coaching, simulator drills, and workshops for employees at all levels.
• Provide technical training on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols specific to rig sites.
• Develop, administer, and analyze assessments to measure learning outcomes and continuously improve training.
• Champion safety by ensuring all training adheres to corporate QHSSE policies and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Strong background in technical training, preferably within drilling or heavy‑industry environments.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable learning experiences.
• Commitment to safety culture and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for diverse learner groups.
