Lecturer in Business Information Systems (BIS)

About the role

Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology is seeking a Lecturer in Business Information Systems (BIS) to join its Faculty of Business Administration starting September 2026. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and academic service within a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct research projects, securing external funding where possible.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate students in their academic work and research.
• Design, develop, and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Information Systems.
• Participate in administrative duties and curriculum development.
• Collaborate with partner universities on joint academic initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD in Business Information Systems or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level.
• Strong communication and academic writing skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Good management skills, including meeting deadlines and motivating others.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Business Information Systems specializations.
• Proven teaching and practical expertise in related academic disciplines.
