Lifeguard – Hotel Pool & Beach

About the role

The hotel seeks a professional Lifeguard to ensure the safety of guests at its pool and private beach. You will monitor swimming areas, respond to emergencies, and support the hotel’s health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor the hotel pool and beach to prevent drowning incidents.
• Maintain and update all safety signage in the assigned area.
• Hold a valid governmental Lifeguard certificate and keep it renewed.
• Prepare and submit hazard reports to management during each shift.
• Provide first‑aid assistance and manage drowning emergencies.
• Assist in other hotel areas as needed and perform additional tasks assigned by management.
• Conduct fitness testing, evaluations, program design and instruction as part of the hotel’s wellness offering.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, quality and food‑safety management systems.
• Promote environmental initiatives: reduce waste, save energy, and support biodiversity activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of lifeguarding or related experience.
• Fluent in English and Arabic for effective communication with guests and staff.
• Completed professional trainings, seminars and certifications relevant to lifeguarding and first aid.
