Lifeguard – Hotel Pool & Beach Safety

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety of guests at our hotel’s aquatic facilities in 6th of October City, Egypt. The successful candidate will combine strong water‑safety expertise with excellent customer service, maintaining a secure environment for both pool and beach areas.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor pool and beach zones to detect hazards and prevent drowning incidents.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of first aid, CPR, and water‑rescue techniques; respond swiftly to emergencies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all signage is visible and accurate.
• Enforce facility rules and safety regulations in a friendly, professional manner.
• Perform water rescues and provide emergency medical assistance when required.
• Document incidents thoroughly and report hazards to management promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Assist guests with inquiries while prioritising safety.
• Maintain rescue equipment and safety devices in proper working condition.

Required profile

• Vocational college diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a lifeguard or aquatic‑safety role.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Advanced swimming ability with proven water‑rescue skills.
• Excellent physical fitness and stamina for extended shifts.

Required skills

• Current professional lifeguard certification.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Ability to operate basic lifeguard equipment and safety devices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and communication tools used in aquatic safety.
