Logistics and Material Coordinator – Rolling Stock

About the role

Join Siemens Mobility’s Rolling Stock team in Egypt as a Logistics and Material Coordinator. You will be responsible for handling materials, spare parts, tools and equipment for one of the country’s first high‑speed rail projects, ensuring smooth warehouse operations and accurate inventory records.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue and electronically record materials, spare parts, tools and equipment following company procedures.
• Perform electronic booking of goods in and out using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Verify incoming deliveries against documentation and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper identification, labeling and storage.
• Prepare spare‑part kits, package materials and dispatch items for repair when required.
• Replace damaged tools and support internal movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts, where authorized.

Required profile

• Vocational training or higher qualification with at least 3 years of warehouse or store‑keeping experience.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management or logistics.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with CMMS.
• Strong organizational ability, attention to detail and capacity to work independently or in a team.
• Advanced English; Arabic is preferred.
