Logistics Manager – Africa Region

About the role

We are partnering with a leading multinational organisation to recruit a Logistics Manager responsible for overseeing logistics operations across multiple African markets. This strategic leadership position focuses on delivering cost‑effective, customer‑centric logistics while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end logistics operations across several African countries.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with overall business goals.
• Oversee warehousing, transportation, import/export, customs, inventory management, and distribution.
• Manage relationships with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and key logistics partners.
• Drive service‑level improvements, cost optimisation, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations and company policies.
• Monitor logistics KPIs and take corrective actions to enhance performance.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams.
• Lead, coach, and develop the logistics team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Identify supply‑chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain business continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• 8–12+ years of progressive logistics and supply‑chain experience in a multinational environment.
• Proven experience managing regional logistics across multiple countries.
• Strong background in transportation, warehousing, distribution, import/export and customs.
• Experience managing third‑party logistics providers and contracts.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
