Logistics Operations Specialist – Customs Clearance & Nafeza Platform

About the role

DFL is seeking a detail‑oriented Logistics Operations Specialist to manage import and export shipments while ensuring smooth customs clearance. The role requires hands‑on experience with the Nafeza Platform and a solid understanding of Egyptian customs regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily sea, air, and land freight shipments.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, customs brokers, and overseas agents.
• Prepare, review, and verify all shipping documents before submission.
• Register shipments and process documentation through the Nafeza Platform.
• Upload, verify, and manage shipment data and supporting documents on Nafeza.
• Prepare and review customs clearance documentation and follow up with brokers and authorities.
• Track shipment status and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian customs regulations and international shipping requirements.
• Support the Operations Department with day‑to‑day logistics activities and customer requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics operations, or customs clearance.
• Hands‑on experience using the Nafeza Platform (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian customs regulations and documentation requirements.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
