Logistics Specialist

About the role

Arkas Logistics is looking for a Logistics Specialist to manage USA‑based ocean and air import operations. This remote, full‑time position supports our global network by ensuring smooth cargo flow from booking to delivery while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and follow up ocean import operations, from booking to cargo delivery.
• Handle the complete operational process for both ocean and air imports.
• Respond promptly to customers’ operational needs, issues, and expectations.
• Maintain active communication and strong relationships with customers.
• Provide proactive, up‑to‑date operational information to customers.
• Collaborate with Sales and Pricing teams to ensure seamless process flow.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding.
• Experience with USA ocean and air import operations.
• Ability to work USA working hours (3 PM – 12 AM) and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• No travel restrictions.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of shipping line systems and portals.
• Understanding of operational and documentation processes in freight forwarding.
