Logistics Supervisor – Facility & Fleet Management

About the role

The Logistics Supervisor will manage the maintenance of MSF infrastructure, non‑medical stocks and the vehicle fleet in Cairo, ensuring all activities comply with MSF standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily maintenance activities of facilities, equipment and mechanical/electrical devices.
• Inspect premises, report anomalies, evaluate rehabilitation needs and oversee minor building works.
• Plan and coordinate checks and preventive maintenance of energy systems according to MSF standards.
• Lead the logistics team: supervise daily work, define tasks, create schedules, conduct meetings and support recruitment.
• Ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance of the project vehicle fleet and coach drivers on safe practices.
• Manage logistics orders from departments and health facilities, support storekeepers and conduct local purchases following MSF procedures.
• Guarantee safety and security of facilities (access control, fire, electrical and occupational safety) through daily presence and prompt reporting.
• Oversee waste disposal, water supply, electrical, walls, ceilings and overall facility conditions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, facility or vehicle fleet maintenance within a humanitarian or similar environment.
• Ability to supervise and motivate a logistics team and coordinate multi‑departmental activities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for monitoring maintenance and safety standards.
• Good communication skills to report issues and collaborate with line managers.
