Machine Learning Engineer – LLM/NLP (Remote, H1B Sponsorship)

About the role

Meriti Inc. is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer specialized in large language models (LLM) and natural language processing (NLP). This full‑time remote position offers H1B sponsorship for qualified candidates and focuses on building cutting‑edge AI solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine‑learning models and LLM‑based applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Implement NLP pipelines and fine‑tune LLM architectures such as LLaMA or GPT.
• Maintain and improve existing predictive‑modeling and AI systems.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in machine learning, neural networks, and pattern recognition.
• Solid foundation in computer science, statistics, and applied mathematics.
• Proven experience with NLP and LLM algorithms (e.g., LLaMA, GPT).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
