Maintenance Engineer Internship

About the role

Kickstart your engineering career in an industrial environment with a hands‑on internship focused on maintenance, asset reliability and strategy execution. You will work alongside senior engineers and technicians to gain practical experience in data analysis, root‑cause investigation and preventive‑maintenance optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze data from Maximo to track maintenance KPIs and prepare monthly OPEX/CAPEX cost reports.
• Participate in root‑cause‑analysis sessions for equipment failures and draft incident reports.
• Review and optimise preventive‑maintenance schedules, SPM project contributions and job‑plan usage.
• Follow up on pending actions in maintenance and reliability programmes.
• Support warehouse management by monitoring spare‑parts ordering, storage conditions and critical inventory.
• Shadow senior technicians and engineers in the field to learn practical constraints and safety protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and curiosity about industrial operations and plant safety.
• Collaborative team player with good communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Maximo asset‑management software.
• Interest in applying AI tools for maintenance scheduling or troubleshooting.
