Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer will own and optimise daily production processes by ensuring machinery performs reliably and remains available. The role focuses on rapid breakdown response, advanced troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to meet a machine availability target above 99.90% while controlling maintenance costs.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure machine availability remains above 99%.
• Perform corrective maintenance as needed.
• Manage spare parts inventory based on machine requirements.
• Design and implement an effective preventive maintenance program.
• Adhere to quality standards and 5S methodology.
• Monitor and control the assigned budget.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience with pneumatic machines.
• High level of written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of PLC programming.

• Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology.
• Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) analysis.
• Preventive maintenance planning.
• Mean Time To Repair (MMTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) metrics.
• PLC programming.
• Pneumatic machine operation and troubleshooting.
