Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer will own and optimise daily production processes by ensuring machinery performs reliably and remains available at a very high level. The role focuses on rapid breakdown response, advanced troubleshooting, and the implementation of preventive maintenance programmes to meet strict availability targets and minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain machine availability above 99% (target >99.90%).
• Perform corrective maintenance and rapid breakdown response.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory according to machine requirements.
• Design, implement and continuously improve a preventive maintenance programme.
• Apply quality standards and 5S methodology in the production area.
• Monitor and control the assigned maintenance budget.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with pneumatic machines.
• High level of written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of PLC programming.

Required skills

• TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodology.
• OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) analysis.
• Preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Understanding of MMTR and MTBF metrics.
• Experience with pneumatic systems.
