Maintenance Team Leader – Sharkeya Plant

About the role

Acts as a deputy plant manager overseeing production, quality and utilities at the Sharkeya Plant. The role ensures safety and quality standards are met in line with Al Ahram Beverage Company and global Heineken requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all safety activities and conduct regular quality checks on finished products.
• Oversee packaging, production, utilities and develop the periodic maintenance plan with the maintenance specialist and planning engineer.
• Monitor programmable line control via PLC, resolve issues and ensure spare parts availability.
• Produce daily and weekly performance, safety, quality and budget reports and review tasks with the management team.
• Allocate and monitor tasks for technicians, conduct weekly audits and drive continuous skill enhancement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience in maintenance engineering or operations with a focus on performance improvement.
• Strong command of English and ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• PLC monitoring and troubleshooting.
