Maintenance Technician (Heating Systems)

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will join Dafa Egypt’s New Cairo team to ensure the reliable operation of central heating, under‑floor heating, solar hot water and heated‑pool systems. Working on‑site full‑time, you will carry out routine inspections, diagnose faults and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, test and maintain heating and related building‑service equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out repairs or adjustments.
• Execute preventive‑maintenance plans, schedule interventions and record all work performed.
• Document findings, complete service reports and update maintenance logs.
• Coordinate with project, operations and client teams to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with central heating, HVAC or similar building‑services systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals and use standard maintenance tools.
• Strong safety awareness, detail‑oriented work habits and reliable time management.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s licence.
