Master Data Specialist

About the role

The Master Data Specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining, validating, and governing master data across the organization. This role ensures data accuracy, consistency, and integrity while supporting business operations and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain, update, and validate master data within the ERP system.
• Manage Material, Item, Customer, Vendor, Product, Pricing masters and Bills of Materials.
• Review and verify all master data requests before implementation.
• Monitor and eliminate duplicate or inaccurate records.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, Planning, Sales, Finance, and IT to capture accurate requirements.
• Support new product launches with required master data configurations.
• Perform periodic data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Generate reports on data quality, completeness, and accuracy.
• Assist ERP implementation, upgrades, testing, and enhancements related to master data.
• Investigate and resolve master data issues affecting operations.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in master data management or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
