Material Controller

About the role

The Material Controller will ensure that all project materials are available on time and in the right quantities, supporting seamless execution of construction schedules. Working closely with Procurement, Purchasing, the Technical Office and Warehouse teams, you will coordinate the flow of materials from suppliers to the site.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite movement of materials between projects and internal departments.
• Review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and record material requirements in collaboration with the Technical Office.
• Track production schedules with suppliers and monitor expected delivery dates.
• Manage receiving, checking, storage, and preservation of materials on site.
• Control material waste and maintain accurate material logs and status reports.
• Follow up on supplier invoices with the Accounting department.
• Generate regular reports on material availability, submittal logs and status.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in a relevant field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in material control or a similar supply‑chain role.
• Good command of English.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
