Material Flow Planning & Warehouse Engineer Team Leader

About the role

LEONI, a global provider of products, solutions and services for energy and data management in the automotive industry, is hiring a Material Flow Planning & Warehouse Engineer Team Leader in Nasr City. The role manages all warehouse and material flow activities and leads the warehouse team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all warehouse and material flow activities, including unloading, receiving, labeling, storage, picking, sequencing, loading and shipping of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods.
• Define, implement and continuously improve supply chain material flow standards, processes, tools and work instructions.
• Lead and supervise warehouse personnel, set objectives, monitor performance, conduct evaluations, support succession planning and identify training needs.
• Ensure adherence to company standards, safety regulations and process execution, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy and ensure proper use, maintenance and safety compliance of warehouse equipment and technical assets.
• Collaborate with facilities and central Supply Chain Management teams, contribute to warehouse system design (WSD), support customer projects and RFQs, and share best practices.
• Define, track and analyze KPIs for warehouse and material flow performance and report them on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (highly preferred).
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in warehousing and internal material flow operations, including at least 3 years in a proven leadership role.
• Professional proficiency in English with excellent communication, reporting, leadership, coaching and employee development skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment, and excellent planning, organization and time management skills.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM is a strong advantage.
