Math Teacher - Preparatory & Secondary Stage (National Curriculum)

About the role

Madinaty Integrated Language School is looking for a Math Teacher for the Preparatory and Secondary stages following the National Curriculum. The teacher will help students develop mathematical understanding, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in a stimulating and supportive environment. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured mathematics lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for the Preparatory and Secondary stages.
• Create a positive, inclusive and academically challenging classroom that motivates students.
• Use varied teaching strategies and educational technologies to meet diverse learning needs and encourage active participation.
• Assess progress through formative and summative assessments and give timely, constructive feedback.
• Encourage critical thinking, logical reasoning and problem solving through interactive learning.
• Prepare students for school assessments and national examinations while maintaining high standards.
• Communicate regularly with parents about progress, achievements and areas for improvement.
• Take part in professional development and collaborate with colleagues on school initiatives, academic planning and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education or a related field.
• Teaching qualification preferred.
• Previous experience teaching Mathematics in the Preparatory and/or Secondary stage under the National Curriculum preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts.
• Excellent classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to student achievement and continuous professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic educational team.
