Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Design Engineer will work under the Engineering Manager to design, prototype, test, and document mechanical and electronic equipment. The role requires self‑direction and a solid grasp of engineering theory, material properties, and manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, cost‑analyse, design, prototype, test and document hardware components.
• Provide engineering estimates for hardware designs.
• Supervise technicians during prototyping and manage material purchasing.
• Influence cost, schedule and technical performance decisions.
• Analyse defect trends, identify root causes and suggest process improvements.
• Recommend new tools, techniques and continuous‑improvement approaches.
• Follow ISO‑based quality standards and communicate with local and international suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of industry experience.
• Strong attention to detail and high artistic sense.
• Proficiency in English.
