Mechanical Designer Engineer – HVAC (4 Years Experience)

About the role

UniPower is seeking a full‑time Mechanical Designer Engineer specialized in HVAC to join its on‑site team in 6 October City. You will design heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems for industrial and commercial facilities, ensuring performance, safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform HVAC load calculations and select appropriate equipment.
• Create ductwork, piping and equipment layout drawings using CAD tools.
• Prepare detailed design documents, technical reports and tender proposals.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, attend site visits and support installation, testing and commissioning.
• Review project specifications, resolve design issues during execution and maintain design standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong foundation in mechanical engineering and HVAC system design principles.
• Experience with industrial or commercial HVAC projects (4 + years preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and schematics.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) for HVAC layouts and documentation.
• HVAC load calculation and equipment selection.
• Machine design and component selection for HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, local regulations).
• Project management – planning, tracking and stakeholder coordination.
