Mechanical Engineer – Data Center (HVAC/BIM)

About the role

IoT Misr is expanding its Data Center team and seeks a Mechanical Engineer with strong HVAC and BIM expertise. You will support project bids, design, and implementation while providing technical assistance to clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical submittals and tender documents for bids and projects.
• Review catalogs and specifications for current and future products.
• Provide technical support to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver technical training sessions for employees and customers.
• Assist the sales team with engineering calculations and equipment selection.
• Select and size HVAC equipment, including CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, FCUs, fans, and accessories.
• Establish HVAC design basis and system concepts for projects.
• Create 3D BIM models for HVAC systems and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Prepare installation drawings and Bills of Quantities for HVAC equipment and materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC design, tendering, and technical support.
• Data Center experience is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• HVAC equipment sizing and selection (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, FCUs, fans).
• Proficiency with BIM software for 3D modeling.
• Experience using engineering design software.
• Preparation of technical submittals and tender documentation.
