Mechanical Technical Office Engineer

About the role

Masriah Construction Company is seeking a Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to join its New Cairo site. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on the preparation, review and coordination of mechanical shop drawings and related documentation for residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes and standards.
• Coordinate mechanical designs with civil and electrical teams and resolve on‑site technical issues.
• Participate in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material take‑offs and cost estimates.
• Support quantity surveying activities and validate material quantities and pricing.
• Update and maintain project documentation, drawing registers and revision logs.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide technical support to construction teams and consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in a construction technical office, preferably on residential, commercial or industrial projects.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (or equivalent drafting software).
• Revit (or similar BIM tools).
• MS Office suite.
• Preparation and review of shop drawings.
• BOQ preparation and quantity surveying.
• Material take‑offs, cost estimation and documentation control.
