Medical Services Coordinator

About the role

The Medical Services Coordinator supports the health‑insurance team by managing treatment guarantees, verifying policy coverage, and ensuring smooth case processing. You will work closely with managers and customers, using AI‑enabled tools and data analytics to improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Enter treatment guarantees into the system and verify policy coverage up to the authorization stage.
• Follow up on outstanding cases via email and telephone, including maritime claims.
• Review work queues, prepare distributions, and manage system tasks.
• Assist the manager in creating departmental policies and recording meeting minutes.
• Support health, safety and welfare initiatives within the team.
• Utilise AI, machine‑learning, cloud‑based tools and data analytics responsibly, adhering to governance and security standards.

Required profile

• Medical or Pharmaceutical degree.
• Experience in the health‑insurance industry.
• Customer‑focused administrative experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Progression towards a Diploma in Private Medical Insurance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, negotiate and act proactively.
