MEP Construction Manager – Lead Electromechanical Projects

About the role

The MEP Construction Manager will lead all electromechanical construction activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, to specification, and to the highest quality and safety standards. You will coordinate closely with contractors, design consultants and the project management team across hospitality, commercial or residential developments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage electromechanical construction for assigned projects, overseeing installation, testing and commissioning.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and contract documents to guarantee compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and other disciplines to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor progress, report updates, identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental policies on site.
• Review method statements, shop drawings and material submittals, providing technical advice.
• Support procurement activities, including technical evaluations and vendor selection.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of electrotechnical construction experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience on large‑scale hospitality, commercial or residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, codes and standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
