MEP Procurement Manager

About the role

The MEP Procurement Manager is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Giza, responsible for overseeing procurement of mechanical, electrical and plumbing materials and services. The role ensures specifications, budgets and timelines are met through supplier qualification, quotation analysis and close coordination with engineering and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify suppliers, request and analyse quotations.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts and procurement schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance, deliveries and quality compliance.
• Negotiate commercial and contractual terms to optimise costs.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with company policies.
• Conduct market research to discover new vendors and value‑engineering opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong procurement and MEP‑specific purchasing experience, including sourcing of materials, equipment and services.
• Proficiency in supplier evaluation, vendor management and contract negotiation/management.
• Excellent analytical skills for bid comparison and cost optimisation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory) and experience in the Saudi Arabian market (mandatory).
• Knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes and industry standards.
• Ability to work on‑site in Giza, manage multiple priorities and adhere to health, safety and quality requirements.
