About the role

We are looking for a Microservice Development Engineer to join a multinational telecommunications client. The role covers the entire delivery chain, from infrastructure as code to CI/CD pipelines, microservices and Kafka‑based data streams that feed analytics platforms.

Key responsibilities

Design, build and maintain GitOps‑driven Kubernetes and Helm infrastructure.
Develop, debug and integrate C++14 services using CMake and Conan.
Implement CI/CD pipelines with Atlassian Bamboo and Docker multi‑stage builds.
Create and manage Kafka consumers, RESTful APIs and data‑ops pipelines.
Ensure observability through Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch/Kibana and OpenTelemetry.
Write unit, integration and performance tests and conduct contract testing.

Required profile

Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++14+) and ability to modify existing service code.
Experience building and debugging C++ services locally.
Hands‑on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps tools (ArgoCD or Flux).
Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as Bamboo, Ansible or Terraform.
Understanding of data serialization (Protobuf, Avro, MessagePack) and columnar databases (ClickHouse, Vertica).
