Mid-Level Logistics Specialist (Freezone & International Shipping)

About the role

We are seeking a Mid‑Level Logistics Specialist to join Eshratex Cotton Spinning Company in Alexandria. The role focuses on managing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with free‑zone regulations, and supporting commercial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange and oversee transportation of goods by land, sea, and air.
• Select and negotiate with carriers, freight forwarders, and shipping agents to obtain competitive rates.
• Track shipments, provide real‑time updates, and resolve delays or issues.
• Coordinate pick‑ups and deliveries with warehouses and distribution centers, preparing all required documentation.
• Prepare, review, and manage logistics documents such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, and certificates of origin.
• Maintain compliance with national and international trade regulations and stay updated on changes.
• Act as primary contact for customs brokers and authorities to facilitate clearance.
• Monitor inventory levels, support warehouse operations, and avoid overstocking.
• Analyze logistics processes to identify efficiency and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, and Purchasing teams to align logistics with business goals.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 4‑7 years of logistics experience, including free‑zone (GAFI) expertise.
• Proven experience with international import/export and customs procedures in Egypt.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with strong communication skills.

• Expertise in international shipping, customs documentation, and compliance.
• Ability to negotiate rates with carriers and freight forwarders.
