Migration Project Manager (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Save the Children International (SCI) is seeking a Migration Project Manager to lead a multi‑year initiative protecting vulnerable Egyptian children and returnee youth at risk of irregular migration. The role is based in Greater Cairo with regular travel to the North Coast and Minya.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor project activities across three regions, ensuring alignment with SCI strategies.
• Manage the project budget, including development, tracking, and reporting.
• Maintain effective partnerships with government entities, INGOs/NGOs, and local implementing partners.
• Oversee a team of two Technical Officers and three core consultants.
• Coordinate with Child Protection, Mental Health, MEAL, finance, logistics, and security teams.
• Ensure compliance with child safeguarding policies (Level 3).
• Respond to humanitarian emergencies, adapting work hours and duties as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex humanitarian or development projects, preferably in child protection or migration.
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership building abilities.
• Ability to travel frequently within Egypt and work flexible hours during emergencies.
