Multiskilled Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a Multiskilled Engineer to join our maintenance team in Cairo, supporting electrical and mechanical assets across plant, equipment, and building services. The role involves ensuring reliable operation of heavy industrial machinery and overhead cranes while maintaining high safety and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and manage equipment risks, update drawings, and maintain critical spares.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes for machinery and plant.
• Perform fault finding on all types of machinery and support health and safety initiatives.
• Provide electrical and mechanical expertise on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes.
• Prepare and follow risk assessments, ensuring compliance with legislation.
• Maintain documentation and work on three‑phase systems up to 440 V.
• Service motors, gearboxes, valves, and hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical systems.
• Use mobile devices and the CAFM maintenance system to plan and record work.
• Liaise with site services to resolve building services issues.
• Act as responsible person or deputy shift leader when required and work overtime as needed.

Required profile

• Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent time‑served apprenticeship.
• Strong proven experience (5+ years) in manufacturing and industrial maintenance.
• Solid electrical competence and mechanical maintenance background.
