Native Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android / Huawei)

About the role

Arcsen, a global technology consulting firm serving clients in EMEA, is building native mobile apps (not hybrid) for iOS, Android and Huawei with feature parity to the web platform and the member/loyalty experience. The apps use the same content and integration APIs as the website. At least one senior iOS engineer and one senior Android engineer are needed; Huawei (HMS) capability can sit with the Android engineer. The workplace is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Build native apps: iOS in Swift (latest two OS versions, portrait and landscape) and Android in Kotlin (latest three OS versions), plus Huawei AppGallery distribution and Huawei Mobile Services push where required.
• Implement core journeys: search and booking/commerce, self-service flows, mobile pass and ticket with Apple Wallet / Google Wallet, document scanning and upload, and calendar sync.
• Deliver the member/loyalty profile and features at parity with the website.
• Implement push notifications (APNs / FCM / HMS Push), in-app notifications, geolocation and offline access to static content; optionally smartwatch companion apps.
• Integrate content and integration APIs via the integration layer and mobile analytics.
• Meet performance targets: app startup under 2 seconds, optimised app size and crash-rate reporting.
• Manage store distribution on Apple App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery, with localised metadata and screenshots.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of native mobile development.
• Senior-level Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android), specifying which platform the candidate leads on.
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps in production app stores.

Required skills

• Strong REST / GraphQL API integration.
• Experience with push infrastructure (APNs / FCM).
• Nice to have: Huawei Mobile Services and AppGallery, multi-language and right-to-left (Arabic) apps, Apple Wallet / Google Wallet pass integration, high-traffic transactional or travel/commerce apps, and cross-platform familiarity (pure cross-platform-only candidates are a weaker fit).

What we offer

• Hands-on experience with real-world projects and clients.
• A collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Career growth opportunities.
