Network & Security Engineer

About the role

The organization is seeking a Network & Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain its network infrastructure. The role ensures reliable connectivity, enforces security policies, and supports end‑users across LAN/WLAN environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain routers, switches, wireless modules, VoIP systems, load balancers, VPNs, and network security appliances.
• Ensure reliable connectivity for users and hosted services across LAN/WLAN environments.
• Monitor core routing and switching performance and manage VLAN configurations.
• Administer Cisco Call Manager, monitor usage, and configure IP phones.
• Define, enforce, and monitor security policies on Fortinet appliances, firewalls, and IPS.
• Track and analyze internet bandwidth utilization.
• Manage VPN configurations and access permissions for various user groups.
• Maintain and review logs from all network infrastructure systems.
• Conduct service evaluations and recommend improvements.
• Plan and oversee infrastructure changes, assessing impact on users and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and security‑related issues.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to meet operational needs.
• Provide end‑user support across all network services and generate regular reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, computer science, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience supporting a large‑scale environment (minimum 1,500 users).
• CCNA certification (required); CCNP Enterprise and ITIL knowledge are a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
