Nursery Classroom English Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Classroom English Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The role follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and focuses on supporting children’s holistic development. You will work closely with co‑teachers and the nursery management team to deliver high‑quality early years education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate, engaging learning activities.
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Implement the principles and framework of the British EYFS.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s progress.
• Build strong relationships with children and their families.
• Ensure high standards of classroom organization, hygiene, and safety.
• Collaborate with co‑teachers and the nursery management team.
• Communicate professionally with parents.
• Participate in nursery events, activities, and professional development.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a nursery, preschool, or early‑years setting.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Good understanding of early childhood development and the British EYFS.
• Warm, patient, responsible, and caring personality.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Residence in or near Sheikh Zayed preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the British EYFS framework.
