Nursery Homeroom Teacher or Co‑Teacher

About the role

Pixie Wings – Nursery & DayCare is seeking a full‑time Nursery Homeroom Teacher or Co‑Teacher to join our inclusive early learning environment in El Sheikh Zayed. You will plan and deliver EYFS‑aligned lessons that foster children’s growth through play‑based and structured activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement age‑appropriate lessons for children aged 1‑5, using indoor and outdoor play.
• Support social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child.
• Observe, document and report on children’s progress.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with colleagues and specialists.
• Participate in nursery events, camps and enrichment programs such as hobbies and themed activities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and adhere to safeguarding, health and safety policies.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in early childhood education and knowledge of the EYFS British Curriculum.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education; teaching qualifications are a plus.
• Experience working in nurseries or early years settings with children aged 1‑4.
• Demonstrated classroom management and ability to create nurturing, inclusive learning environments.
• Experience training or mentoring assistants or team members.
• Commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusive practices.
• Adaptable, reliable and collaborative mindset.
