Operational Excellence Engineer – Lean & Six Sigma

About the role

The Operational Excellence Engineer will support Kandil Glass in analysing current operational processes, identifying improvement opportunities and driving the implementation of Lean and Six Sigma initiatives. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams to standardise procedures, integrate new technologies and boost overall productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse operational processes and pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Support the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma and other process‑improvement methodologies.
• Collect and analyse data to inform decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Assist in deploying new systems, technologies and automation tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful system integration and process standardisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in operational excellence, maintenance planning, process improvement or manufacturing.
• Exposure to manufacturing or operational environments.
• Basic understanding of Lean, Six Sigma and process‑improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
