Operations Engineer

About the role

The Operations Engineer will join our infrastructure team to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring and maintenance of customer hardware and systems. You will work closely with technical teams and customers to resolve issues and keep services running reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Install, move, and de‑install customer hardware and perform initial OS configuration.
• Handle network and SAN cabling, and rack servers.
• Deploy, operate and troubleshoot monitoring and backup solutions.
• Manage problem tickets, isolate server/network issues and provide basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with other technical teams and act as on‑call support outside regular hours.
• Document technical procedures and assist with IT project management tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications engineering or computer science.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience in data‑center or critical environments.
• Strong command of English and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication, presentation and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Basic Windows OS implementation and administration.
• Basic Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) implementation and administration.
• Basic MS SQL administration.
• Experience with monitoring and data‑backup applications.
• Server hardware installation and rack‑mount knowledge.
• Network and SAN cabling expertise.
• Technical documentation writing.
• Understanding of IT project management principles.
