Operations Executive (East Cairo)

About the role

JLL is hiring an Operations Executive for its East Cairo office, based on-site in Cairo. The role oversees the day-to-day operations of assigned properties and mixed-use developments, acting as the main point of contact for tenants and coordinating with service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned properties and mixed-use developments
• Help develop and implement property management plans to improve efficiency, reduce downtime and increase property value
• Carry out regular site visits and inspections to check property conditions, maintenance needs and compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Manage and coordinate with maintenance technicians, housekeeping and security staff
• Act as the main contact for tenants, handling inquiries, complaints and requests
• Build and maintain positive tenant relationships through regular communication
• Prepare reports, variance analyses and performance metrics for management and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with lease agreements, local ordinances, building codes, zoning regulations and environmental laws
• Review preventive maintenance programs and stay up to date on property management laws and industry standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in mall management and/or mixed-use properties
• Good knowledge of property management principles, leasing practices and real estate market trends
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Flexibility, hardworking nature, strong attention to detail and a compliance orientation
• Ability to work professionally with tenants, retailers, residents and service providers
• Preferably residing in West Cairo or around the area

• Property management software such as Yardi, MRI or RealPage
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Building systems, equipment and tools needed for maintenance and operations
• HSE awareness in live operational buildings
