Operations Officer

About the role

The Operations Officer will be based on‑site at the Port Said Port Police Department, supporting INTERLOG’s door‑to‑door logistics services. You will coordinate daily operational activities, ensure smooth movement of goods and maintain compliance with safety and legal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics operations and monitor shipment progress.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external logistics partners to optimise workflow.
• Analyse operational processes and implement improvements.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders, including clients, carriers and authorities.
• Resolve logistical challenges and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and hazardous‑material handling procedures.

Required profile

• Strong operations management and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of finance principles for budgeting and cost optimisation.
• Proven problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in the logistics sector is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in an on‑site, team‑oriented environment.
