Order Management Coordinator

About the role

Expeditors is seeking an Order Management Coordinator to ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient movement of freight and information. You will provide exceptional customer service while supporting daily operational activities, shipment tracking, documentation, and vendor communication.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain smooth freight process flow and ensure accurate data entry into the operating system.
• Track and trace shipments, monitor reports, and proactively resolve issues affecting delivery.
• Prepare and communicate export-related documents, including arrival notices and client communications.
• Validate vendor and client billing and coordinate directly with customers on international shipments.
• Build and maintain relationships with shipping lines, trucking companies, and other service providers.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry regulations, OPS standards, and customer‑specific policies.
• Analyze process flows to identify efficiency improvements and update SOPs in the DLSOP database.
• Meet KPI targets and manage overseas correspondence with timely responses.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of transportation processes (all modes a plus).
• Strong computer skills and fluency in English.
• 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or customer service.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal abilities.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support team success.
• Ability to receive and implement feedback effectively.
