Outbound Distribution Manager – Logistics

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Outbound Distribution Manager to lead and optimise all outbound transportation activities across Egypt. The role involves managing company‑owned trucks, third‑party logistics providers and cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time, in‑full deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and dispatch company trucks to maximise fleet utilisation.
• Manage 3PL relationships, monitor service level agreements and control costs.
• Ensure OTIF performance and high customer satisfaction.
• Develop transportation strategies that reduce distribution costs while improving service levels.
• Track KPIs such as vehicle utilisation, fuel consumption, delivery efficiency and freight costs.
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Sales, Customer Service and Finance for seamless order fulfilment.
• Resolve delivery issues, discrepancies and customer complaints promptly.
• Lead, coach and develop the transportation and distribution team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation, distribution or logistics, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of fleet management, outbound distribution and 3PL operations.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
