Owner Representative – Operations

About the role

The Owner Representative acts as the primary liaison between the hotel ownership group and the hotel management team. This senior position oversees operational performance, financial results, and overall success of the owned hotels, ensuring they meet the owner’s standards and expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for the owning company on all hotel matters.
• Monitor financial reports, operational metrics, and guest satisfaction scores.
• Partner with the Director of Operations and General Managers to develop strategies that boost revenue, profitability, and guest experience.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess property conditions, brand compliance, and improvement opportunities.
• Review and approve annual budgets, capital expenditures, and major contracts.
• Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
• Provide guidance on staffing, training, and operational issues.
• Coordinate with the owner’s finance team for accurate reporting.
• Lead meetings with General Managers to review performance and address concerns.
• Represent the owner in negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop promotional strategies.
• Handle escalated guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Travel to multiple hotel locations as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in hotel management, operations, or ownership representation.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems and related software.
• Knowledge of local hospitality regulations and compliance requirements.
