Paper Handling & Additive Operator

About the role

The Paper Handling & Additive Operator works on the Suez plant to ensure smooth preparation of paper reels and accurate dosing of dry and liquid additives for the production line. The role supports shift leaders and production managers by maintaining material flow, monitoring inventory, and keeping the work environment safe.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare paper reels by removing coversheets and damaged sheets, and install them correctly on the line.
• Prepare and fill dry/liquid additive silos to the required levels, continuously monitor levels and report any discrepancies.
• Inspect additive tanks and paper reels during the shift and report faults.
• Operate forklift and perform cleaning tasks, including forklift maintenance and plant housekeeping.
• Conduct end‑of‑month raw material inventory counts.
• Complete daily paper and additive reports and follow all safety procedures while wearing PPE.

Required profile

• Minimum primary education (primary grade) completed.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar paper handling or additive preparation role.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from shift leaders.
• Respectful attitude towards colleagues and focus on customer needs.

Required skills

• Valid forklift driving licence and ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
