Payroll Specialist – Full‑time, On‑site

About the role

Egast is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage the end‑to‑end payroll process for its workforce in Abu Almatamir. You will ensure accurate, timely payroll execution while complying with Egyptian labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Review attendance, overtime, leave balances, and payroll deductions.
• Calculate salaries, bonuses, incentives, commissions, and end‑of‑service settlements.
• Ensure payroll compliance with company policies and the Egyptian Labor Law.
• Prepare payroll reports and reconcile payroll data.
• Coordinate with Finance for salary transfers and related transactions.
• Maintain accurate payroll records while safeguarding confidentiality.
• Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage social insurance documentation and payroll‑related paperwork.
• Support payroll audits and uphold internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in payroll administration.
• Strong knowledge of payroll calculations, Egyptian Labor Law, and Social Insurance regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll/HRIS systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet strict deadlines.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work six days per week (Saturday to Thursday).
