Payroll Supervisor

About the role

A leading industrial company in Egypt is looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor to own the end‑to‑end payroll process for more than 1,000 employees across several sites. The role focuses on accuracy, compliance and timely salary delivery while collaborating closely with HR, Finance and site administration.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for 1,000+ staff, validating attendance, overtime, deductions, allowances and settlements.
• Maintain payroll records in line with company policies and Egyptian labor regulations.
• Coordinate payroll inputs with HR, Finance and site teams and ensure correct salary transfers.
• Prepare payroll, reconciliation and management reports.
• Handle internal and external audit requests and support payroll audits.
• Monitor compliance with social insurance, tax and labor law requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, HR or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of payroll experience, including at least 3 years supervising payroll operations.
• Proven experience managing payroll for 1,000+ employees in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian payroll legislation, social insurance and tax rules.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with MenaITech payroll and HR system.
• Familiarity with NOVA HRMS/Payroll system (highly preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas and data analysis.
