People & Culture Coordinator

About the role

The People & Culture Coordinator supports Swissotel Sharm El Sheikh’s HR function by handling recruitment, employee relations, and administrative processes. Working closely with management, you will ensure smooth onboarding, compliance with legal requirements, and a positive workplace experience for all staff.

Key responsibilities

• Screen CVs, conduct interviews, and coordinate candidate selection using HR tools.
• Answer employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies, programs, and guidelines.
• Notify HR management of employee‑relations issues and assist in their resolution.
• Post required legal and regulatory notices for all employees.
• Monitor hiring processes for compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Process internal and external transfer requests and support managers throughout the recruitment cycle.
• Conduct reference, background, and social‑insurance checks in line with company procedures.
• Prepare and send offer documentation, complete employment verification forms, and create new‑hire files in PeopleSoft.
• Facilitate new‑employee orientation and maintain confidential personnel records.
• Maintain filing systems, draft office correspondence, and ensure accurate record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff at all levels.
• Organised and proactive approach to managing multiple HR tasks.
• Understanding of local labour laws and HR best practices.

Required skills

• PeopleSoft HRIS proficiency.
