People Partner Lead – Plant Operations

About the role

The People Partner Lead will oversee all HR processes at Holcim’s Ain Al‑Sokhna cement plant, ensuring safe, compliant and people‑focused operations that enable the plant’s 9.5 MT capacity. Acting as the primary HR advisor, you will partner with line managers to drive workforce stability, engagement and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce health‑ and safety legislation and promote safe working practices across the plant.
• Implement the plant‑level People strategy in line with Holcim Egypt priorities, translating operational needs into practical workforce solutions.
• Support talent management activities including workforce planning, succession planning, performance management cycles and learning initiatives for both white‑ and blue‑collar staff.
• Handle employee relations cases such as discipline, grievances and investigations while ensuring compliance with Egyptian labour law.
• Manage the employee lifecycle: payroll inputs, HRIS updates, personnel records and reporting of People KPIs.
• Identify people‑related risks, support organisational change projects and contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in HR business partnering or People operations within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• HRIS (Human Resources Information System) proficiency.
